Biographies of Principal Attorneys


Bill Peirson received his J.D. Degree from Texas Tech University in 1977. He has extensive experience in negotiating and closing real estate transactions and handling development matters in most of the 50 states.  He has a broad background in dealing with governmental licensing and regulatory enforcement authorities at all levels.


Chris Peirson received a J.D. Degree from Texas Tech University Law School in 1977.  Chris is a frequent speaker on the national level, having made presentations for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the American Institute of Banking, and the State Bar of Texas. She has publications for the State Bar of Texas, the University of Texas School of Law, the South Texas School of Law, and the Texas Land Title Institute.



Chris Christensen received a J.D. Degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. He is an associate with PeirsonPatterson, LLP, concentrating his practice on regulatory and compliance. Chris is a vice-chair on the Mortgage Banker’s Association Political Action Committee and participates in MISMO where he co-chairs the eMortgage Legal Issues Subgroup.  He is a frequent speaker at financial services trade associations on financial privacy regulation, the RESPA, E-SIGN, and UETA.
